Job summary

Scotsman Group seeks a friendly hospitality team member to be the face of our venues across restaurant, bar, and events. You’ll support both front-of-house and kitchen teams to guarantee smooth daily operations.

You will greet guests, take orders, upsell recommendations, and contribute to a hygienic, well-presented dining experience while handling payments and event setup as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, café, bar or busy guest service environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for guest interactions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, seat them and provide menus.
• Take orders accurately and note dietary requirements.
• Recommend menu and beverage pairings to upsell.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing feedback.
• Deliver meals with high presentation and hygiene standards.
• Set and reset tables, stock tableware and condiments.
• Take and ring up payments adhering to till procedures.
• Assist in setting up event spaces and function rooms.
