Committee Room No 9 in Glasgow is seeking a proactive hospitality team member to be the face of our venue across restaurant, bar, and event spaces. You will support front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth daily operations and memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, upselling, delivering meals with high standards, and assisting with event setups. Flexibility for varied shifts is essential, and you will benefit from comprehensive staff

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, café, bar, or busy guest service environment preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests, seat them, provide menus and guide to tables.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and note dietary needs.
• Make menu/beverage recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
• Check guest satisfaction and address feedback professionally.
• Deliver meals from kitchen with high presentation and hygiene standards.
• Set and reset tables, stock tableware and condiments.
• Take orders at bar and prepare drinks per specification.
• Assist in arranging event spaces and function rooms before guests arrive.
• Process payments adhering to till procedures and report discrepancies.
