Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a genuine desire to take personal responsibility in delivering excellent customer service as part of our housing team, focusing on tenancy and estate management.

Responsibilities
  • Work on your own geographical patch
  • Assist with the delivery of housing management services
  • Assist with resolving complex issues such as anti-social behaviour
  • Assist with project management and environmental improvements
  • Give support, guidance, and advice to local neighbourhood residents associations
Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and manage a busy workload. You will bring excellent customer service skills, the ability to build effective relationships, and a solid understanding of key safeguarding principles, along with excellent communication, organisation and IT skills. Experience in a housing role, or in law enforcement, social services, mental health services, or the military, is an asset.

You must hold a full driving licence and have access to your own vehicle insured for business use, or be willing to cycle around the city.

Hours & Working Pattern

Full‑time role, 37 hours per week. Monday ­‑ Friday. Working pattern is flexible – you may work in Cambridge on site, at one of our offices, or from home.

Contract & Salary

Contract: Fixed Term. Salary: £32,597 ­‑ £36,363 per annum (City Pay Band 4), pro rata for part‑time.

Location

This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home. You will be able to balance your work location accordingly.
