Job summary

Manchester City Football Club is seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to lead safe delivery of matchdays and events at the Etihad Campus and City Football Academy. You will plan, manage and oversee operations, assess risks and coordinate staffing to protect spectators, staff and players while delivering high-standard experiences.

You will work evenings, weekends and holidays as required, ensuring compliance with Safety of Sports Grounds guidance and club policies.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 in Spectator Safety Management (or substantial progress towards).
• Experience delivering safety and security operations for large events.
• Knowledge of Safety of Sports Grounds and related guidance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and assure safety and security operations for fixtures and events.
• Assess risk, prepare operational orders, briefings and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, certificates and Club policies.
