Job summary

Hyve Group Ltd is seeking an Event Operations Manager for Legal Tech Talk, now part of Hyve. The role focuses on overseeing show logistics, event production, catering, signage and attendee movements to deliver exceptional experiences across sponsors, speakers and delegates.

The candidate will collaborate with the Operations team and vendors, travel to events, and manage activation programmes and pre-show side events with a view to continuous improvement in attendee satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in event management, especially operations, production or logistics.
• Strong project management, communication and time-management skills.
• Experience with catering, networking events and production logistics in large-scale B2B events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage event documentation, show orders, onsite operations and inventory.
• Coordinate volunteer and temporary event staff and contractors, ensuring scheduling and training.
• Lead high-value catering, managing menus, budgets and costs to elevate attendee experience.
• Curate networking and ancillary events, oversee venue selection, entertainment, decor and catering.
• Support stakeholders, vendors and Operations team with furniture, AV, signage and event elements.
• Project manage activation programmes and collaborate with stakeholders to fit into wider event plans.
• Coordinate pre-show side event programme with Marketing, owning production and venue logistics.
• Oversee onsite health & safety and monitor attendee welfare.
• Analyze post-show and NPS data to drive strategic decisions and innovation.
• Stay ahead of industry trends by attending events and generating fresh ideas.
