Job summary

Luxury Leisure in Coventry is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of a venue in our gambling sector, and to stand in as Venue Manager in their absence, liaising with area management to uphold high standards and ensure excellent customer service. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in customer service and ideally a year in supervisory or management responsibilities.

The position is 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, with mornings, afternoons and evenings, including

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years customer service experience
• A year in a supervisory or management role preferred
• Excellent customer service with a professional approach

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Area Management to ensure venue KPI targets are met
• Delegate and support staff in daily tasks
• Drive business on peak times and tournament days
• Key holder duties (opening/closing venue)
• Promote offers, promotions and events to customers
• Provide refreshments and snacks to customers
• Recommend games and machines using training knowledge
• Handle cash and provide customers with change
