Job summary

Active Assistance is seeking a part-time Children's Support Worker to assist a 9-year-old girl with cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and epilepsy in a village between Thatcham and Reading. The role requires driving to the family home, two evening shifts per week (2pm-10pm) and a weekend day, with flexible zero-hours contract and consistent weekly rotas.

Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from a Care Manager are provided, plus access to the Active Learning Hub and

Qualifications

• Driver with a car is required due to rural location.
• Experience caring for a child with complex health needs is preferred.
• Willingness to commit to two evenings plus a weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Follow established care plans and work as part of a consistent team.
• Participate in rotas planned in advance and maintain accurate records.
