Job summary

Active Care Group in Altrincham is seeking a Female Children's Support Worker to assist a 10-year-old girl with quadraplegic cerebral palsy. Shifts are Tuesdays and Thursdays 4pm-8pm, and Sundays 10am-8pm, with part-time 18 hours weekly.

You'll work alongside another worker, providing engaging activities and mobility support in a home setting. The role is on a zero-hours contract with a supportive care manager, access to training, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for children with complex needs.
• Willingness to work Tuesday/Thursday evenings and Sundays.
• Ability to work with a small, consistent care team.

Responsibilities

• Care for a 10-year-old girl with quadraplegic cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair.
• Engage in activities, outdoor time, arts and crafts, and cooking with the child; support mobility and hoisting as needed.
