Job summary

Active Assistance in Liverpool (part of Active Care Group) is looking for a compassionate Children's Support Worker to help an 11-year-old boy with autism, epilepsy and challenging behaviour. You will support him at home, take him into the community and even go swimming with him.

A full UK driving licence is required to drive his automatic vehicle. Shifts run on Tuesdays and Thursdays 4pm-8pm and Sundays 12pm-6pm.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK drivers licence to drive the clients automatic vehicle.
• Experience supporting children with autism or similar needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support an 11-year-old client in his family home and in the community.
• Take him swimming and ensure his safety during activities.
• Work alongside another Support Worker (2:1 care) for all shifts.
