Job summary

Active Assistance is seeking a Children\'s Support Worker to care for an 11-year-old boy with complex clinical health needs at his family home in Redruth. The role includes evening and weekend shifts, with a flexible zero-hours contract and weekly rotas.

Full specialist training is provided, along with shadow shifts and ongoing support from the Children's Care Manager to help develop clinical skills and career progression.

Qualifications

• Support a child with complex clinical health needs in a family home.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends on a zero-hours contract.

Responsibilities

• Care for an 11-year-old boy with complex health needs in his own home.
• Support with learning disabilities, PEG feeding, challenging behaviour, non-verbal communication, epilepsy, and wearing splints.
• Receive full specialist training and shadow shifts; work with a consistent care team and planned rotas.
