Job summary

Active Assistance in Bangor is hiring a Children’s Support Worker for day shifts. You will care for a 17-year-old girl with complex health needs in her family home and in the community. A driver with a car is required due to rural location, and the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours basis with regular weekly shifts.

You’ll receive full specialist training, access to the Active Learning Hub, and Nest pension. A rewarding role within a supportive team with growth opportunities is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be a driver with a car due to rural location.
• Support one child in home and community on a 1:1 basis.
• Willing to undergo full specialist training.
• Flexible zero-hours contract with regular weekly shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care to a 17-year-old girl with complex health needs.
• Support involvement in home and community activities during shifts on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Assist with daily routines and coordination with the care team.
