Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a part-time Children’s Support Worker to care for a young client in Redruth. You will work evenings (4.15pm-8.15pm) and weekends (12pm-8pm) 2–3 shifts weekly with a flexible zero-hours pattern. Induction and ongoing support are provided.

The role involves caring for an 11-year-old boy with complex health needs at home, including potential PEG feeding, seizures and disabilities. Training is provided to support your clinical development.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for children with complex health needs preferred.
• Willingness to complete DBS check and training.
• Full induction and specialist training provided.

Responsibilities

• Care for an 11-year-old boy with complex health needs at home.
• Assist with feeding, mobility and medical needs as trained.
• Follow care plans and work with a clinical care team for continuity.
