Job summary

Active Care Group is looking for a female support worker to assist a 15-year-old client with cerebral palsy in Callington, Cornwall. The role covers morning care from 7:30 to 9:30, 3–4 shifts per week, on a zero-hours contract.

You will provide personal care, support with physiotherapy routines and emotional support within the family home. The role offers specialist training, ongoing support from a Care Manager, access to development resources, holiday pay, regular rotas, and a Nest pension.

Qualifications

• Female candidate required due to genuine occupational requirement.
• Driver with car required due to rural location of client.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, physiotherapy routine, and emotional support for the client.
• Support the client in their family home with parents and sibling as part of the care team.
