Job summary

Active Care Group is hiring for a part-time role in Southport to support a 15-year-old boy with complex needs in his family home and in the community.

Shifts are weekday evenings (4pm–7pm) with a flexible zero-hours contract; approximately 15 hours per week. Full specialist training and ongoing support are provided, plus access to the Active Learning Hub and pension benefits.

Responsibilities

• Support a 15-year-old boy with Angelman syndrome, learning disabilities, epilepsy and wheelchair needs in his family home and community.
• Work as part of a two-person support team (double up shifts) to provide consistent care.
• Cover weekday evenings (4pm–7pm), part-time role with around 15 hours per week.

About the role

This role is to support a 15 year old boy in his family home and out in the community. Our client has complex needs including Angelman syndrome, learning disabilities, epilepsy, non-verbal, scoliosis, wheelchair user and hoist, gastrostomy. This is double up shifts (two support workers on shift together).

Work details

• Shifts: Weekday evenings (4pm-7pm) – 15 hours a week available
• Flexible zero-hours contract (work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client)
