Active Care Group is seeking a part-time Children’s Support Worker to care for a young client in Redruth. You will work evenings (4.15pm-8.15pm) and weekends (12pm-8pm) 2–3 shifts weekly with a flexible zero-hours pattern. Induction and ongoing support are provided.
The role involves caring for an 11-year-old boy with complex health needs at home, including potential PEG feeding, seizures and disabilities. Training is provided to support your clinical development.

We'd like you to join us as a Children's Support Worker to care for our young client in Redruth.
This role is to support a wonderful 11 year old boy with complex clinical health needs in his own home, where he lives with his family and dogs. Our clients’ needs include learning disabilities, PEG feed, challenging behaviour, non-verbal, epilepsy and he wears splints. We will provide full specialist training and shadow shifts.
This is a rewarding role where you can work with one child, enhancing his life every week. It is also a great opportunity to enhance your clinical skills.
In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
