YPP in Leeds is seeking a proactive Night Time Safety Concierge to provide a secure environment for residents during the evening hours. This role involves monitoring CCTV, triaging out-of-hours calls, conducting walk and drive-around checks, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe, welcoming community.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be highly detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple safety-related tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for resident interactions.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and security incidents.
• Experience in building safety, security, or facilities support is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Provide Excellent Service: Greet residents and visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor and ensure residents feel safe during evening hours.
• Safety Monitoring: Oversee CCTV and building safety, address concerns promptly and escalate as required.
• Out-of-Hours Call Management: Triage after-hours calls, direct issues to the appropriate team, and handle urgent matters efficiently.
• Building Walkarounds and Drive Around: Conduct regular checks, ensure areas are safe and well-maintained, log hazards.
• Emergency Response: Respond to lockouts and fire alarm activations, assist with safe evacuations.
• Residence Assistance: Support tenants with non-emergency queries and liaise with relevant teams.
• Safety & Compliance Checks: Support health, safety, and fire regulation adherence and report hazards.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Keep entrance, office, and communal areas tidy and stocked, ensure coffee station is available.
• Parcel Management: Manage resident parcels securely and distribute promptly.
• Safety & Security Focus: Demonstrate strong commitment to resident safety and security.
• Strong Organisational Skills: Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, and team members.
• Proficient in Technology: Knowledge of CCTV, phone systems, and Word/Excel.
