Kia UK is seeking a field-based Senior Technical Support professional to back PBV and fleet operations from the Walton-on-Thames HQ. You will work closely with Technical Specialists to deliver industry-leading technical support to PBV Centres and fleet partners.

The role involves office-based work with occasional nationwide visits to diagnose faults on EV vehicles, aiming to minimise downtime for commercial fleets. Experience with high voltage EV components is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds Part 3 or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate field team activity with Senior Technical Advisors.
• Provide onsite technical support and coaching to Technicians at Kia UK dealers, PBV Centres and fleet operator workshops.
• Assist on fastest possible repair of customer and fleet vehicles.
• Carry out vehicle inspections to determine warranty liability.
• Support new model launches, evaluations, press events and quality investigations.
• Collaborate with Customer Service on technical customer/dealer contacts.
• Minimise vehicle off-road time.
• Collaborate with Quality to raise product concerns.
• Provide technical support to internal departments and approved suppliers.
• Coordinate with Kia HQ, KaSK and KEU on technical matters.
• Attend technical seminars and share information.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and accurately document contacts.
