Job summary

Kia UK seeks an experienced Technical Trainer to lead the delivery of high voltage and diagnostics training. You will work at the Kia Academy in Derby, collaborating with peers to create engaging course content and ensure safe, competent training for PBV centres and fleet partners.

The role requires strong instructional design skills, familiarity with LMS tools, and the ability to work across teams while adhering to H&S guidelines. Hybrid working and strong employee benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering High Voltage training and diagnosis training in line with H&S requirements.
• Excellent up-to-date technical knowledge of vehicles and diagnostic processes.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Advanced PC skills: Outlook, PPT, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to create and deliver new course content and assets, defining delivery methods and using instructional design principles.
• Develop online training options (VCT, eLearning, videos, AR/VR) and keep content current.
• Maintain awareness of current technical issues and GSW bulletins.
• Deliver internal and fleet operator training at the Academy and workshops.
• Share knowledge with the Technical Training team and liaise with Quality teams as needed.
