Job summary

Kia UK is recruiting a Master Technician level specialist to support our PBV centres and fleet partners. You will work with Technical Specialists to deliver industry-leading technical support, inspections, and cost negotiations, ensuring rapid repairs and minimum vehicle downtime.

The role is primarily office-based with occasional field visits across the UK. Ideal candidates have HV EV fault-diagnosis experience and a background in aftersales at an OEM or dealer, plus strong Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Motor Vehicle Technicians Part 3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Technical Advisors and other Technical Specialists to coordinate field activity.
• Provide onsite technical support and coaching to Technicians at dealers and PBV Centres to ensure rapid repairs.
• Carry out vehicle inspections to ascertain warranty liability and negotiate repair costs.
• Support new model launches, evaluations, press events and quality investigations.
• Communicate with customers/dealers to resolve technical concerns.
