Job summary

ACS Automotive in Southwater, West Sussex, seeks a Senior PSV Technical Specialist to lead technical excellence across minibus, bus and coach fleets, including EVs. You will guide internal teams, liaise with factories, and drive improvements while supporting UK and Ireland operations.

The role demands an automotive qualification or equivalent, 5+ years in a leadership/technical role, and strong fault-dinding and communication skills. Travel across the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• Automotive qualification or equivalent in Automotive Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or technical role within the transport industry.
• Experience with minibus, bus, and coach vehicles and EVs.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on minibus, bus, and coach vehicles and EV systems, providing technical guidance.
• Lead technical training sessions for internal teams on vehicle systems and EVs.
• Develop and update technical documentation, service manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Guide repair and maintenance procedures and support for all vehicle types.
• Be the primary escalation path for technical issues and liaise with factories/Head of Operations.
