ALPADIA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Camp Manager for the 2027 summer programme. You will lead staff, safeguard students, manage language and activities programmes, and ensure smooth administration across welfare, safety and communications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing or coordinating summer camps, youth programmes, or similar environments.
• Experience leading teams and supervising staff in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
• Demonstrated experience in safeguarding and ensuring the welfare of children and young people.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, logistics and administrative processes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: lead and train staff, conduct daily meetings, assist with performance management.
• Student Management: safeguard wellbeing, manage behaviour and discipline, ensure welfare policies.
• Language Programme: assist Academic Manager in managing teachers and language courses.
• Activities Programme: assist Activity Manager in managing activity leaders and programme delivery.
• Welfare and Health & Safety: ensure safeguarding, health & safety policies are understood and followed.
• Administration: organise weekend check-in/out, registers and record keeping.
