A global asset manager is looking to hire an ESG Analyst to join the Global Emerging Market Equities investment team based in London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth ESG analysis on new and existing portfolio companies in order to identify ESG risks and opportunities.
  • Identify areas for ESG improvement in companies.
  • Engage with companies on ESG issues and attempt to influence positive change.
  • Track ESG engagement activities and observe how companies' behaviour changes over time.
  • Support Fund Managers with reports relating to ESG assessments and engagements.
Candidate Requirements
  • 2-4 years' work experience in ESG or sustainability research.
  • Passion for sustainable investing, climate change and responsible ownership.
  • Fluent spoken and written Mandarin is desirable.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated, and proactive.
