Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for an ER & Policy Manager in Reading. In this role, you will manage employee relations, lead policy development, and support the People Strategy in a hybrid work environment. Candidates should have strong knowledge in UK employment law and proven experience in managing ER cases. This position is a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

  • Strong UK employment law and ER expertise.
  • Experience managing individual and collective ER cases.
  • Proven success in policy development and insourcing.
  • Confident coaching and influencing skills.

  • Ensure policies are clear, compliant, and aligned with best practice.
  • Communicate and embed policy changes, upskilling managers.
  • Enhance HR intranet with accessible tools and guidance.
  • Deliver training and e-learning for line managers.
  • Recommend models for ongoing HR/ER support.
  • Support wider People Strategy projects.
