Job summary

New Ventures Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HR Case Manager to join their HR team. This telephone-based advisory role supports managers across the business, handling complex ER issues with focus on compliance, Right to Work checks, and employment law.

You will manage a personal caseload, coach managers, and work with HR colleagues to ensure consistent, commercially sound outcomes. Hybrid work arrangement offered after one month.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex HR/ER casework.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and Right to Work checks.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice via telephone and written communication to managers.
• Own and manage a varied caseload of ER issues including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and employee concerns.
• Guide managers through investigations, hearings, appeals, and suspensions.
• Review investigation reports and formal documentation to ensure compliance with law and policy.
• Maintain accurate case records and progress cases within SLAs.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure consistency and best practice across the function.
