Right Now Recruitment is seeking a Graduate/Entry-Level Technical Account Manager for a smart energy client in the UK. The role focuses on solving technical customer issues, analyzing device data, and delivering engaging, professional support.

Hybrid work in Basingstoke offers two days in the office and three days remote. The successful candidate will have an engineering or analytics background, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset to support hardware and firmware

Qualifications

• Graduate or equivalent with interest in Engineering/Analytics or exceptional Customer skills.
• Previous experience in technical customer support relating to software, electrical goods, engineering hardware, or embedded devices.
• High computer literacy and advanced Excel skills.
• Not standard corporate IT support or office network helpdesks.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to trace issues to root cause.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Engagement: Act as a core technical point of contact for UK customers across product lines.
• Incident Ownership: Own customer incidents and technical queries from initial engagement through resolution with SLAs.
• Data & Log Analysis: Collect, analyse and interpret logs and device data to identify root causes.
• Relationship Management: Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and on-site configuration support where needed.
• Testing & Escalation: Coordinate product testing and guide customers through escalation processes.
• Customer Training: Lead training sessions to enable product onboarding and long-term success.
• Continuous Improvement: Maintain a knowledge base and report trends to drive product improvements.
