Job summary

Glory Global Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to operate in the designated field territory in the UK. You will service, maintain, repair and upgrade Glory equipment, building strong customer relationships and working independently to troubleshoot high-speed cash-handling systems.

Based in Knutsford, you will install and train customers, diagnose issues, and coordinate with local service centres for efficient workload management.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification with post-qualification experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and upgrade equipment in the field and train customers as required.
• Investigate issues/warranty failures in the field and resolve efficiently with support from Product Specialists and Service Management.
• Coordinate with local Service Centre/partners for workload scheduling considering site location and cost implications.
• Plan and prioritise workload to meet business aims and customer needs.
• Diagnose system problems and provide repair solutions during downtime, keeping the customer informed.
• Document system problems and preventative maintenance in customer site logs.
• Gather and record machine information to monitor performance.
• Complete Engineering Change Notices (ECN) affecting upgrades and hardware/software changes.
• Suggest improvements for reliability and performance of equipment.
• Escalate difficult problems to technical support for timely resolution.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules and adhere to company specifications.
• Perform other assigned duties to meet business demands.
