Job summary

Referment in Belfast is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new enterprise partnerships and revenue growth in payments and fintech.

You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract onboarding, negotiate strategic deals, and expand the company’s footprint across ecommerce, marketplaces and financial services.

This hunter role requires a proven track record with large-scale deployments and the ability to travel internationally when needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in business development or sales, with 5+ years in payments/fintech selling to enterprise clients and platform partners.
• Experience selling payout, disbursement, or payment infrastructure solutions to platform operators and regulated financial services.
• Record of exceeding revenue targets and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce, digital services, marketplaces or subscriptions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage and acquire new merchants and strategic partners.
• Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline from prospecting to onboarding.
• Consistently achieve and exceed revenue, transaction volume and new business targets.
• Lead negotiations and own end-to-end sales cycle with merchants, partners and PSPs.
• Develop market expansion strategies and represent the company at industry events.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Operations and Marketing to deliver client outcomes and maintain forecasting and CRM reporting.
