We are looking to recruit Learning Support Assistants to provide tailored support to scholars with additional needs. You will have key responsibilities for the educational and intimate care needs of identified scholars. You will also have a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child succeed. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will build strong relationships with scholars, staff, and professionals, ensuring that the scholars' needs are effectively met.

Salary

From £24,943.14 to £29,634.49

• Contract type: Fixed-Term (12 months), term-time only
• Working pattern: Full-time
• Start date: As soon as possible

About the role

We are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to provide tailored support to scholars with additional needs. You will be responsible for the educational and intimate care of identified scholars, with a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child succeed. You will build strong relationships with scholars, staff, and professionals to meet scholars' needs effectively.

Candidate requirements

• Work with Teachers, SENCO, Head of Departments, and other professionals to ensure scholars can access the curriculum daily, using assisted technology.
• Support medical care and intimate needs on a daily basis.
• Deliver specialist care following advice from healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to understanding and developing SEN provision at Ark All Saints.
• Ensure scholars' needs are effectively communicated.
