English Teacher – Bury

Location : Bury

Start Date : ASAP

Contract : Full-time, until Easter (with potential for extension)

Key Stages : KS3 and KS4

Salary : Paid to scale (MPS / UPS)

Are you a passionate and dynamic English Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of scientists?

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Stockport to recruit a talented English Teacher to join their team immediately.

This is a full-time role teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering General English. The post is initially until Easter, with potential for extension or a permanent opportunity.

The successful candidate will :

Have QTS or equivalent and a specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science)

Be able to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4

Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils

Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and student outcomes
