English Teacher – Secondary School (South Birmingham, near Kings Heath)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term until July 2025
Pay: £150 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)

Connex Education are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Kings Heath area of South Birmingham, who are seeking a committed Teacher of English to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time role teaching KS3 and KS4 English on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across KS3 & KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum and school policies
  • Support students of all abilities to make progress and achieve their potential
  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or ECT
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and ability to engage learners
  • Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
