A leading engineering company in Croydon seeks an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee a team of shift engineers. The role involves ensuring all engineering operations comply with statutory and safety requirements. Responsibilities include providing technical support, maintaining the Certified Persons Register, and ensuring high standards in planned preventative maintenance. This is a permanent position, offering an opportunity to enhance site performance through effective management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support to site-based Authorised Persons (APs).
• Lead, plan, and deliver agreed changes to drive continuous improvement.
• Assess, appoint, and manage all Authorised Persons, maintaining the Certified Persons Register.
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance is completed to a high standard.
• Develop, implement, and maintain action plans following audits.
• Collaborate to produce a forward maintenance register and capital investment plan.
• Conduct regular assessments of site-based Authorised Persons.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across all site logbooks.
• Participate in callout rota.
• Ensure the permit-to-work system is fully compliant.
