Job summary

Briggs Equipment is seeking an Engineering Services Account Manager in Scotland (National) on a permanent basis. You will identify safety concerns, manage key customer relationships, and collaborate across departments to streamline service delivery and maximise revenue.

The role requires strong communication, excellent workload organisation, and solid IT skills including Power BI and Microsoft Office. You will support technical sales for Plant and Groundcare products and drive growth

Responsibilities

• Identify and escalate safety concerns related to Briggs or customer operations.
• Manage and develop relationships with an assigned portfolio of customers across contract types.
• Collaborate across departments—Credit Control, Engineering Managers, Engineers, and Service Centres.
• Provide technical sales support for Plant and Groundcare products.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities by increasing the share of customer spend.
• Respond to tender enquiries across multiple platforms to position Briggs as the preferred supplier.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at all customer levels to drive revenue growth.
• Ensure full compliance with engineering standards, health and safety regulations, and audit requirements with the Engineering Manager.
• Track and communicate contract performance using BE Portal KPIs and Power BI.
• Promote and expand Truckcare contracts to grow the active fleet.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business unit performance.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

• Actively identify and escalation safety concernsrelated to Briggs or customer operations, ensuring prompt resolution through the appropriate channels.
• Manage and develop strong relationshipswith an assigned portfolio of customers, focusing on all contract types and revenue streams.
• Collaborate effectively across departments-including, Credit Control, Engineering Managers, Engineers, and Service Centres - to streamline processes, increase service income, minimise debt and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical sales supportfor Plant and Groundcare products, assisting both customers and the Engineering Manager.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunitiesby increasing the share of customer spend across all services and products.
• Respond professionally to tender enquiriesacross multiple online platforms, positioning Briggs Equipment as the preferred supplier in the sector.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationshipsat all customer levels to drive revenue growth and ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Ensure full compliancewith engineering standards, health and safety regulations, and audit requirements in partnership with the Engineering Manager and Engineering Services team.
• Track and communicate contract performancebuilding and analysing monthly reports using BE Portal KPIs and Power BI to maintain transparency and support customer satisfaction.
• Promote and expand Truckcare contracts, targeting both existing and potential customers to grow the active fleet park.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of business unit performance.
