Job summary

Revived Equipment – part of the Briggs Equipment Group in East Kilbride is seeking a Workshop Engineer to service and repair diesel, LPG and electric forklift trucks. You will diagnose faults, carry out maintenance and ensure safe, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principles
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times, following health and safety procedures
• Service, maintain and repair diesel, LPG and electric materials handling equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out planned maintenance and pre-delivery inspections on forklift trucks
• Keep the workshop and shared areas clean, organised and safe
• Complete job cards accurately and order required parts promptly
• Deliver a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers and colleagues

In the role you will be:

• Work safely at all times, following company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Service, maintain and repair diesel, LPG and electric materials handling equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out planned preventative maintenance and pre-delivery inspections on forklift trucks.
• Keep the workshop and shared areas clean, organised and safe.
• Complete job cards accurately and ensure any required parts are identified and ordered promptly.
• Deliver a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers and colleagues.
