Job summary

Briggs Equipment is seeking a Field Plant Engineer to service and maintain diesel, petrol and electrically powered small plant, agricultural and ground care equipment. You will attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and perform planned maintenance, while upholding safety and delivering high-quality customer service.

The role requires a relevant technical qualification and experience in a similar position, with the ability to work independently under pressure and manage workloads.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to safety guidelines and customer Briggs policies.
• Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol and electrically powered small plant, agricultural and ground care equipment.
• Attending breakdowns, fault finding and completing planned preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed.
• Completing job activity electronically.
• Ensuring company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and has the correct parts stock.
• Maintaining and developing customer relationships through high standards of service.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £36,839 -£38,653+ Overtime available, door to door payments and optional call out

Hours Monday – Friday. 40 hours a week

Location: Dunfermline and surrounding areas.

We have a new opportunity for a FieldPlantEngineer to join our friendly and supportive engineering servicesteam. We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in forklift trucks, car,vehicle, plant machinery, agricultural equipment, HGVs, passenger vehicles, or similar machinery.

In the role you will be:

• Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment.
• Servicing and maintaining diesel, petrol and electrically powered small plant, agricultural and ground care equipment.
• Attending breakdowns, fault finding and completing planned preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed.
• Completing job activity electronically.
• Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and has the correct parts stock.
• Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service​​​​​

• Overtime is payable at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sunday
