The Impact you will have:
As a Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing relationships between Briggs Equipment and our customers. You will be responsible for minimising operational risk, maximising profitability, and ensuring the successful delivery of contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and addressing safety concerns for both Briggs Equipment and our customers, escalating issues where necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensuring compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations and recommending VOR (Vehicle Off Road) status where equipment inspections are overdue.
- Promoting and embedding our Safety First culture, adopting best practices to reduce risk for employees, customers, and third parties.
- Acting as the primary Contract Manager for customers within your designated area, while supporting local sites as required.
- Planning, documenting, and distributing action-focused contract review minutes within three working days.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure business continuity and service excellence.
- Reviewing and analysing NPS feedback to identify trends, implement improvements, and enhance the customer experience.
- Monitoring contract performance and profitability using systems such as BE Portal, Power BI, and CPO.
- Identifying and recovering additional contractual costs, including damage charges and excess usage, while recommending appropriate resolutions.
- Recognising commercial growth opportunities and sharing these with the relevant stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively with Credit Control, Service Teams, and other departments to support debt recovery activities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration.
- Driving internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service, consistently striving for customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

We are looking for someone who can combine strong customer relationship management with commercial awareness and operational focus.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience in a Contract Management role.
- The ability to prioritise effectively and adapt to changing deadlines and business demands.
- Strong customer service skills, with experience managing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Confidence presenting information and communicating with a wide range of audiences.
- Advanced IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, alongside the ability to learn and navigate business systems.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a structured, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
- The ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and various contract types.
