Are you a visionary and accomplished Engineering Manager ready to take on a pivotal leadership position, driving innovation and operational excellence within a cutting‑edge manufacturing environment? We are seeking an exceptional Head of Engineering to lead our critical operations in Ipswich.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engineering strategies that redefine productivity, quality standards, and technological footprint.
• Lead, mentor, and foster the professional growth of a highly skilled and dedicated team of engineers and technicians.
• Champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and other world‑class manufacturing principles to achieve measurable improvements.
• Lead and deliver complex multi‑disciplinary engineering projects on time and within budget, from initial concept through to successful commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement across all facets of our manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in senior technical leadership within high‑volume, advanced manufacturing or processing industry.
• Proven success deploying industrial automation, advanced robotics, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and control systems.
• Exceptional project management skills and track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong people leadership – motivating, developing, and managing diverse engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing). Master’s or Chartered Engineer (CEng) highly desirable.
