Job Description

The Engineering Compliance Coordinator will play a critical role within the Engineering & Maintenance team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting the administration of SAP Plant Maintenance. This position involves non-stock purchasing, invoicing, and maintaining health, safety, and financial records. You will also oversee site compliance activities and provide KPI reporting to support operational excellence.

Role Responsibilities
  • Administer SAP Plant Maintenance, including adding/modifying maintenance plans, functional locations, equipment, and BOMs.
  • Manage compliance activities (EHS and Quality) such as PSSR, LOLER, PUWER, etc. as well as calibrations, ensuring records are audit-ready.
  • Support Engineering & Maintenance teams with reactive and planned maintenance coordination.
  • Handle engineering stores administration and provide backup for the Engineering Planner and Stores Person.
  • Create non-stock purchase requisitions and resolve invoicing issues promptly.
  • Assist with contractor management and communication for planned maintenance works.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and manage data retention per Huntsman policy.
  • Provide KPI data and monthly overtime reports for payroll.
  • Deliver training for non-stock purchasing and support digitization initiatives.
Experience and Competencies
  • Previous experience in an engineering/admin function, ideally within the chemical sector (pharma or biochemical considered).
  • Knowledge of SAP (preferable) or other Plant Maintenance and engineering systems.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and statutory engineering requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including strong skills in Excel. Experience with Power BI & dashboard creation is a bonus.
  • Exposure to LEAN tools (VSM, SMED, Kaizen) is advantageous.
  • HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering or Science-based subject is a nice-to-have.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
