Job summary

Shillito Group is recruiting a Business Development Manager for an engineering and manufacturing client in Worcester. You will generate new commercial opportunities, build lasting client relationships and support technical sales growth.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within engineering or technical sectors.
• Track record of winning new clients and managing complex sales cycles.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to develop technically credible proposals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in relevant sectors.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM and proactive outreach.
• Build and manage relationships with key customers and technical stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial terms in collaboration with engineering.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and report performance to senior management.
