Sherburn Metalwork, part of WEC Group, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow an established client base and win new business in the metal fabrication sector.

You’ll own the territory, build relationships with decision-makers, and deliver compelling presentations while meeting monthly and quarterly targets. A welding/fabrication background is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience achieving circa £1m+ annual sales targets.
• Strong B2B engineering sales experience.
• Experience in welding/fabrication environments.
• Confident, commercially focused approach to business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsabilités

• Develop and grow an established client base.
• Identify and win new business through cold calling, networking and lead gen.
• Build relationships with decision-makers and senior contacts.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations.
• Quote for new customers and opportunities.
• Aim to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts and reports.
• Develop regional sales strategies and business plans.
• Promote Sherburn Metalwork’s products across WEC Group divisions.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
