Job summary

Bristow & Sutor Group in Brighton is seeking Enforcement Agents to cover Worthing, Eastbourne, Lewes, Haywards Heath and Horsham. You will visit customers' homes and businesses, negotiate recoveries, take payments and set up arrangements, while following regulations.

Salary £26,441–£28,460 with commission and a potential £40,000–£65,000 earnings; company car, fuel card, smartphone and training are provided, along with a pension, life assurance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in dealing with difficult and sensitive conversations.
• Ability to remain calm, firm and fair.
• You like working to targets and being paid for what you achieve.
• Good time management, you can organise yourself and own your results.
• You can talk to anyone, and you listen as much as you speak.
• Treat people with respect and use sound judgement.
• A full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Free of CCJs and Criminal Record.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes and businesses.
• Negotiate professionally and confidently to maximise successful recoveries.
• Take payments, set up arrangements and help customers complete an income questionnaire.
• Take control of goods when there's no other option, always following the regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports, and payment records.
• Identify and support customer vulnerability by recognising signs of hardship, adapting your approach and ensuring appropriate referral pathways are followed.
