Job summary

Bristow & Sutor is recruiting Enforcement Agents to cover Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will visit customers’ homes and businesses, negotiate recoveries, take payments and help customers complete income questionnaires, while ensuring regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do

As a certificated Enforcement Agent, you will be responsible for a designated geographical area and undertake activities on behalf of our clients including:

• Visit customers' homes and businesses
• Negotiate professionally and confidently to maximise successful recoveries
• Take payments, set up arrangements and help customers complete an income questionnaire
• Take control of goods when there's no other option, always following the regulations
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports, and payment records
• Identify and support customer vulnerability by recognising signs of hardship, adapting your approach and ensuring appropriate referral pathways are followed

• Ability to remain calm, firm and fair
• You like working to targets and being paid for what you achieve
• Good time management, you can organise yourself and own your results
• You can talk to anyone, and you listen as much as you speak
• Treat people with respect and use sound judgement
• A full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Free of CCJ’s and Criminal Record
