Job summary

Bristow & Sutor Group is seeking Enforcement Agents to cover the southern counties including Guildford, Crawley, Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone. Primary salary £26,441–£28,460 with the opportunity to earn £40,000–£65,000 through commissions and bonuses, plus a company car and fuel card.

You will visit customers, negotiate recoveries, take payments, set up arrangements and take control of goods when needed, while following regulations and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to remain calm, firm and fair.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence required.
• Free of CCJs and Criminal Record.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers' homes and businesses.
• Negotiate professionally to maximise recoveries.

• Take control of goods when necessary, following regulations.
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports and payment records.

What you will do

As a certificated Enforcement Agent, you will be responsible for a designated geographical area and undertake activities on behalf of our clients including:

• Visit customers' homes and businesses
• Negotiate professionally and confidently to maximise successful recoveries
• Take payments, set up arrangements and help customers complete an income questionnaire
• Take control of goods when there's no other option, always following the regulations
• Maintain accurate case notes, visit reports, and payment records
• Identify and support customer vulnerability by recognising signs of hardship, adapting your approach and ensuring appropriate referral pathways are followed
