Zusammenfassung

WSP in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced civil or structural engineering professional to lead the delivery of civil and structural services on complex Energy Transition and infrastructure projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept through detailed design, ensuring safety, quality and innovation across programmes.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer with ICE/IStructE or equivalent.
• Significant experience delivering civil/structural projects within energy, industrial or infrastructure sectors.
• Demonstrable experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating complex design activities.
• Strong understanding of governance, quality management and Safety in Design.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and develop business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, programmes and project delivery performance.

Aufgaben

• Lead and deliver civil and structural engineering services on complex Energy Transition and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Act as Lead Engineer, Discipline Lead or Project Manager as appropriate, ensuring successful delivery to programme, budget and quality requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, foundations, site infrastructure and associated civil engineering works.
• Develop innovative, sustainable and practical engineering solutions that meet client and project requirements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor and identifying opportunities for future work.
• Collaborate effectively with mechanical, electrical, process and project management teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Support project planning, resource forecasting and risk management activities.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technicians, supporting professional development and chartership progression.
• Contribute to recruitment, capability development and succession planning within the team.
• Support the preparation of bids, proposals, presentations and technical submissions.
• Promote engineering excellence, safety in design and continuous improvement across all activities.
