Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a seasoned civil and structural engineering leader to head the Civil & Structural Engineering discipline within the Energy team in Manchester. You will report to the Head of Engineering and drive technical direction across major energy projects.

You will act as technical authority, oversee design reviews, ensure safety, quality and compliance, and promote digital engineering, standardisation and innovative solutions across feasibility to commissioning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status.
• Post-chartership experience in complex civil/structural work.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead Civil & Structural Engineering within the Energy team.
• Set technical direction focusing on safety, quality and constructability.
• Provide technical authority and independent reviews.
• Develop discipline procedures, guides and tools.
