Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced civil/structural engineering leader to steer the Energy team's multidisciplinary projects from feasibility through FEED, detailed design and commissioning. You will set technical direction, ensure design integrity and deliver robust, buildable solutions while acting as a technical authority across complex programs.

You will mentor engineers, oversee governance and contribute to bids, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and value across international delivery

Qualifications

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or closely related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status with ICE/IStructE or equivalent.
Significant post‑chartership experience in design/delivery of complex civil/structural work in energy/infrastructure sectors.
Experience leading engineers and technicians, coaching and performance conversations.

Responsibilities

Provide civil/structural engineering leadership for major energy projects.
Manage technical governance, design assurance and safety in design.
Lead reviews, disputations and independent checks; ensure quality and compliance.
Develop discipline procedures, guides and competence frameworks; mentor staff.
