Job summary

WSP is expanding its Civil & Structural Engineering team in the Energy Transmission & Distribution sector in the UK. You will work on significant electricity infrastructure projects, delivering civil and structural design across feasibility to construction support.

Join a multidisciplinary team, take on increasing responsibility, mentor graduates, and contribute to technical governance and design assurance across major programmes.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in Energy, Power, Utilities or Infrastructure sectors.
Chartered Engineer or progressing towards chartership (CEng/ICE/IStructE) for senior levels.

Responsibilities

Deliver civil and structural design services for major Energy T&D projects.
Design foundations, steelwork, buildings, drainage and site infrastructure.
Lead or support design of substations and HVDC converter stations.
Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities and reviews.
Produce technical reports, calculations, specifications and drawings.
Ensure compliance with standards and Safety in Design.
