Job summary

University of Wales Trinity Saint David seeks a senior, hands-on Windows and Apple engineering lead to manage endpoint services across Windows, macOS, iOS and iPadOS. You will line-manage the Windows and Apple engineering team and set cross-platform standards.

The role combines technical leadership with incident escalation, security controls, and continual service improvement, working with stakeholders and driving automation and self-service initiatives. Visa sponsorship may be possible.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in managing enterprise endpoint services.
• Strong incident resolution and escalation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, security and ongoing development of the university's endpoint services.
• Line manage and provide technical leadership to the Windows and Apple engineering team.
• Manage Windows, macOS, iOS and iPadOS devices across Intune, Configuration Manager and Jamf.
• Translate strategy into delivery and coordinate service improvements.
• Establish cross-platform standards and oversee endpoint security controls.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex incidents and coordinate teams to resolve them.
• Drive continual service improvement and automation initiatives.
• Engage with stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains.
