Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Endoscopy Booking/Clerical Officer to support patient pathways by efficiently booking diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures and handling reception duties on site.

You will communicate with multi-disciplinary teams, use TrakCare for patient records, and help maintain SOPs while coordinating interpreters and cross-site coverage across North Tees and Hartlepool sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of Endoscopy patient pathways.
• Experience with reception duties and patient administration.
• Proficiency in using electronic patient records (e.g., TrakCare).

Responsibilities

• Book endoscopy diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Perform reception duties and manage patient flow.
• Communicate with multi-disciplinary teams and external service users.
• Adhere to Trust policies and Endoscopy guidelines; maintain quality and targets.
• Identify capacity needs to meet waiting list targets and coordinate with Endoscopy Coordinators.
• Organise interpreters following Trust policies; organize general office duties.
