Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Booking Clerk to join the Endoscopy Administration Team. The role focuses on managing the waiting list, booking within breach dates, and ensuring patient data is accurate in IPM.

You will liaise with Consultants and Endoscopy staff to implement new guidelines and policies, while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and service delivery across two hospital sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in admin/clerical work.
• Experience with NHS waiting lists.
• Knowledge of waiting list management systems and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Booking of patients within breach dates and through correct pathways.
• Record waiting list information on IPM and keep data up to date.
• Communicate with Consultants and Endoscopy staff to implement new guidelines.
