Job summary

National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is seeking a proactive Events Lead to plan, deliver and evaluate a wide range of industry-facing events within the Campaigns and Events team of Marketing & Communications. You will lead end-to-end event delivery, manage multiple projects, coordinate with senior stakeholders and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

• Experience delivering events across a range of formats and audiences.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage the delivery of events and determine what events to pursue for business goals.
• Plan and manage the logistics of an event, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and setting budgets.
• Ensure events are executed to deadlines, with risk assessed and safety considerations addressed.
• Develop and implement event plans to meet objectives and timelines.
• Evaluate events post-delivery and provide recommendations for improvements.
